Hello, Friends of Sabina

[ Updated 8/11/07 ]

Donations have still been coming in, almost a month after the funeral. To date, we have raised $9123.56. If you would like to donate, please do--the bank account and PayPal account will be active for a very long time.

Thank you, again, for your kindness, love, and support!

---------------

Thank you so much for all your support during these 20 weeks! So far we have raised nearly $7,700--let's get it above the $8,000 mark and as close to $10,000 as we can!

If you have friends or family members who have been thinking about donating but haven't yet, now would be the time to send them a gentle reminder!

We will be giving her family the money raised thus far on Saturday. We will continue to fundraise through a variety of avenues--we'll keep you posted!

Hey Everyone -

My name is Sabine Kasper, I was a fellow Berkeley classmate in many nutrition classes with Sabina. I think of her a lot and keep my faith for her improvement.

I recently rode the MS150 on my bike between Houston and Austin. The bike ride is an amazing experience and I rode it for Sabina (even though it is an event for the cure for MS). During the ride, I would get tired and think of Sabina and I would just feel like I had more energy. Over the weekend, I sent her many thoughts and my hopes for her are high.

On Sunday night, after I had returned back to Houston by car, I had a dream of Sabina. She called me on a phone in my dream, and she told me that she thanked me and that she was doing OK. I think she wanted me to pass that along to you, her family, who are vigilant in your care and love for her.
We will continue to pray for her.
Love,
Sabine

Hi everyone,

I didn't know until just now that Sabina had suffered such an accident. My heart goes out to her and her family, and I join all of you in praying for her full recovery. I always experienced her as such a pure heart; she absolutetly deserves such a recovery. I am waiting for my paycheck, but as soon as it is in, I will be making a donation.
Much love and encouragement to all of you,
Shivani

This is Kiomars. Dana'a father. Last night I dreamt that an angle who was GOD appeared on my left side and Sabina's hospital bed was on the right. I grabed the angle "GOD" who was all in white and gave it to Sabina and asked him to protect Sabina. While watching Sabina holding the angle in her arms I woke up. We pray everyday for her. She is like our daughter. She will be fine soon. Kiomars

Piccoli e
Significativi gesti d'amore
Mi hai donato dal tuo cuore...
Piccoli e
belli i tuoi occhi..
alla luce del sole
Piccole e
sincere le mie lacrime
che per te ho versato
questo é perché ti ho amato
Piccola e
stella che sei nel cielo
non smettere di splendere
continua a sorprendere

I didn't know Sabina but her story touched me; I am deeply saddened that she has passed away in such a totally undeserved, tragic way!
